Shoporra is committed to respecting your privacy. If you have interacted with our store or with any of our apps or Meta (Facebook / Instagram) integrations connected to Shoporra, you may request that we delete the personal data we hold about you.
What data we hold
Depending on how you interacted with Shoporra, we may hold:
- Your name, email address, delivery address and phone number (from orders or account sign-ups)
- Order history and payment records (retained as required by Australian tax law)
- Marketing preferences and email subscription status
- Website analytics data (page visits, device type, referral source) collected via cookies and Meta Pixel
How to request deletion
Email us at support@shoporra.co with the subject line "Data deletion request".
In your email, please include:
- The email address you used with Shoporra
- Any order numbers you'd like included in the request (optional)
- Your Facebook or Instagram account name, if the request is related to a Meta interaction
What happens next
We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete your data deletion request within 30 days, in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Meta's platform requirements.
Please note: some records must be retained by law even after a deletion request — for example, financial records tied to completed purchases, which the Australian Taxation Office requires we retain for 7 years. These records will be retained but will not be used for marketing or shared with third parties.
Third-party integrations
Shoporra uses Shopify (our e-commerce platform) and integrates with Meta Pixel for advertising analytics. Data deletion requests will be forwarded to these providers as required.
